Personally Not being a Yank I don't care what the hell you guys decide as it has no effect on me or mine.
Under Universal Healthcare there is no HMO or Company the premiums are paid to a govt agency that pays health care providers directly, based upon their posted covered procedures. Like any insurance not everyone needs use of it. If premiums must be raised they are but usually the underwriters/actuaries set the rates with a healthy margin for expense growth.
The troubles that arise is people wanting every little thing covered or thinking that they should be able to jump the ques.
